Love this curriculum, it truly is open and go. My daughter has been asking for a writing curriculum but every single one we've tried has been so much prep work for me and she has either gotten bored or overwhelmed. This was a perfect amount and she is thoroughly enjoying it. I also appreciate that it's written to work with whatever book you choose to read along with it. I use it to supplement Logic of English (which covers a lot of spelling and grammar but not writing). I'm bummed that it ends at grade 8!

The illustrations are beautiful and the method is very straightforward for learning to write. I use it to supplement Logic of English and it's great for one student to work on while I am working with another. Very happy!
Love this, it truly is open and go. I can tell my kids do one page of literacy and they can finish it on their own. It's a small amount so it's not overwhelming each day and I'm using it to supplement Logic of English. Really happy with this program and the simple straightforward way to learn how to write.
The How We Read and Write are so fabulous! My daughter is really enjoying the process! I’m glad we had the printed. The quality is much than I could print at home. I love have the digital resources just in case we do need to reprint something!
This is truly open and go. I appreciate the simple straightforward way that writing tools are taught. I am using it to supplement Logic of English and work on creative writing. Very happy with the digital files also to use for younger kids. Bummed it only goes up to 8th for my oldest! Would love to see a high school literature course.
I ordered this a unit study to do over the summer with my kids - ages 2, 4, and 6. It has been so fun! we read the books and watch the videos over lunch and do the activity in the afternoon. Perfect for all ages!
I couldn’t have asked for anything better! The deal sounds too good to be true…. But it’s everything it promises and more to me it seems! I shouldn’t have waited so long! It’s well laid out and thought out. I’m beyond impressed! I can’t wait to use this through all of my children!

We (kids and mom) all love the Summer Camp at home. I usually make my own learning units over the summer for my kids to combat the summer slide (and for fun!). Having this unit as a resource has made this busy summer less stressful for me. The kids are learning, but most importantly, they're having fun creating and thinking.
These quick "pops" of learning are great for combating the summer slide. My kids don't mind completing them because they are quick. I'm former elementary teacher and stay-at-home mom now, and love the different ways of learning practice my children get each week with these!
