This is truly open and go. I appreciate the simple straightforward way that writing tools are taught. I am using it to supplement Logic of English and work on creative writing. Very happy with the digital files also to use for younger kids. Bummed it only goes up to 8th for my oldest! Would love to see a high school literature course.
I ordered this a unit study to do over the summer with my kids - ages 2, 4, and 6. It has been so fun! we read the books and watch the videos over lunch and do the activity in the afternoon. Perfect for all ages!

We (kids and mom) all love the Summer Camp at home. I usually make my own learning units over the summer for my kids to combat the summer slide (and for fun!). Having this unit as a resource has made this busy summer less stressful for me. The kids are learning, but most importantly, they're having fun creating and thinking.
These quick "pops" of learning are great for combating the summer slide. My kids don't mind completing them because they are quick. I'm former elementary teacher and stay-at-home mom now, and love the different ways of learning practice my children get each week with these!
We really love the story that goes with the math, it makes if fun and engaging. It also natrually incorporates language and word problems.
These units and lessons are planned out so well that I need very little time to prep, which is such a huge bonus.It is just so wonderful to have a great Canadian homeschool program for my children.
My daughter is almost 5 but loves science and has adored learning about the solar system! This year we are excited to dive into the human body. Not only are the resources easy to use but they come with beautiful watercolor support materials that makes learning fun for everyone!
Love these beautiful open and go unit studies. I find all the resources from How Wee Learn are just the right amount, not overwhelming, not stressful and so flexible. My child and I are enjoying all the resources so far.
This is such a great pack! I am so impressed with the How Wee Write & Read packs. I had intended to supplement with UFLI but it just is not needed! I have divided it up and my Grade 1 and 2 students are using some of the higher levels to continue to work on phonetics in addition to my kinder student learning to read and write! Very happy with this purchase!

As always, the materials are engaging for my child. We've completed 2 of the 6 themes (butterflies and honey bees) thus far and my child asks for more every morning. If your child is the curious type, they will enjoy home camp kit!
